CIP Pool

This teaching computer lab is an indispensable facility at the Institute for Digital Cultural Heritage Studies. It is the main teaching area for practical courses at the institute, utilized extensively by our teaching staff. This versatile laboratory supports a wide range of activities integral to our courses and caters to the diverse needs of our students and staff. These activities include:

  • Programming: Offering the tools needed for various programming languages and development environments.
  • Web Design: Facilitating the creation and testing of web-based projects.
  • Knowledge Representation and Engineering: Enabling the structuring and management of knowledge and information systems.
  • 3D and Geospatial Data Processing: Providing the necessary software for handling geospatial data and 3D modeling tasks.

During scheduled teaching hours, the CIP Pool serves as a hands-on classroom where students gain practical experience under the guidance of our team. Outside of these hours, the laboratory is used as students’ workspace. Students enrolled in our courses can complete their assignments here, engage in group projects, and work independently on their digital cultural heritage initiatives.

The CIP Pool, a vital resource for all at the Institute, is conveniently located in the backyard of Akademiestr. 7, ensuring easy access for all students, teaching staff, and administrative personnel.
