Dr. Anastasia Eleftheriadou and two of our MA students visited the Toumba excavation in Thessaloniki, Greece
As part of the internship in our MA program in Digital Cultural Heritage, Dr. Anastasia Eleftheriadou and two of our MA students visited the Toumba excavation in Thessaloniki, Greece.
We are delighted that Prof. Dr. Sevi Triantafyllou and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with LMU, kindly gave our students the opportunity to create 3D models of Late Bronze Age ceramics using photogrammetry. The Toumba excavation is an important archaeological site with a strong educational and research character, providing students with valuable training in systematic and interdisciplinary archaeological methods.
A detailed report by the students who participated in the internship will follow in the autumn. We are planning a dedicated page featuring internship reports from our MA students, where you will be able to read more about it.
