Partnerships

Digital Cultural Heritage Studies is a broad field that enables us to cooperate with many different Partners all over the world.

Museum of Casts of Classical Statues

The collaboration between the Institute for Digital Cultural Heritage Studies and the Museum of Casts of Classical Statues (MfA) leverages cutting-edge technology to create digital twins of classical art pieces. Using the Artec Leo structured light laser scanner, the project meticulously digitizes and analyzes plaster casts, enabling detailed comparative studies and preserving these invaluable cultural artifacts for future generations. This initiative also provides students with hands-on experience in digital preservation.

Staatliches Museum Ägyptischer Kunst

The ongoing partnership between the Institute for Digital Cultural Heritage Studies and the Staatliches Museum Ägyptischer Kunst (SMAEK) represents a significant milestone in the digital preservation and analysis of ancient artifacts. Central to this collaboration is creating digital twins of the museum's invaluable items, ensuring their detailed documentation for future study and preservation.

Bornholms Museum

In 2025, we will start collaborating with the Bornholms Museum to digitize a significant portion of its collection. This initiative aims to leverage advanced digitization technologies and methodologies to enhance the preservation, accessibility, and dissemination of the museum's valuable cultural artifacts.
