Greetings – Salve!
We are the student council of Prehistoric and Early Historic Archaeology and Provincial Roman Archaeology
at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
As a link between students and lecturers, we represent your interests and at the same time offer an ideal platform for exchange among fellow students within our field.
Our main concern is to support you with any questions, problems, or concerns—so don’t hesitate to contact us at any time! In addition, the student council organizes a wide range of events, including the summer party, the Christmas celebration, student council lectures, colloquia, as well as joint trips and excursions, which are among the highlights of the year.
Another important part of our work is keeping you informed about current events and opportunities. Feel free to follow us on Instagram or sign up for the student council mailing list. Maintaining contact with external institutions and forwarding job postings—for example from excavation companies—are also part of our responsibilities.
