According to legend, the Bavarian Atlantis, Damasia, was one of the three major cities of the Alpine region in ancient times. Mentioned by the geographer Strabo. But where was it located? Did this city really exist? An archaeological search for clues. With contributions by Prof. Dr. Salvatore Ortisi (LMU Munich), Dr. Bernd Steidl (State Archaeological Collection), Dr. Jochen Haberstroh (Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments), and Peter Ernst (Auerberg Museum).
